Blood and Bones
“Blod og bein” is a moving document about medical breakthroughs, innovative doctors and daring scientists – and not least about the heartbreaking fates of a number of patients. Over the past two hundred years, medical skills have continued to develop. Leading doctors and scientists share their view on their field of medicine in this richly illustrated anthology.
The book itself implements the topic of medicine in its design. An open thread binding forms the backbone of the book. All chapters are divided by a red opening spreads designed like a medical file. The typography is restrained and provide a contrast to the emotional historical photographs and illustrations.
